Patience, Discipline and Consistency
I decided to write on Patience, Discipline and Consistency as the key three qualities that VIX traders, need in order to succeed this Year.

Patience:
Ensure you are calm when trying to achieve your 3% daily target for the day.
If you hurriedly place/execute a trade or multiple trades, the market might hurriedly blow your account or reduce your account balance to a large extent.
Remember, you have 24 hours in a day (implying that you can enter the market 24 times for the day to execute/place your trade, which is either at the close or open of every one-hour candle). Do not rush the trade. Take your time.
Discipline:
This is what we really need as traders. It takes discipline for a trader to stick to his/her trade plan/routine/procedure.
Avoid indiscipline/impulse trading/over-trading/revenge trading at all cost.
Consistency:
When water from a tap continues to drop into a bucket for a long time, (say a day/couple of days), soon, the bucket will get filled up.
Some may repeatedly trade during London session only. Some others may trade only during New York market open only.
At times, some meet their daily target by repeatedly aiming for 500 points using 0.001 lot on V75 only at the beginning of the trading day.
While some (swing traders) may only aim to achieve their weekly target in just one trade using 0.20 lot on Boom 500 Index.
Making 3% increase on your account daily and compounding it on a monthly basis will no doubt, give you a mind blowing result at the end of the Year if you are consistent with your rules.
With Patience (calmly finding the right time/moment to trade), Discipline (sticking to the rules, just 3% increase for the day, no more) and Consistency (repeatedly following the style that works for you) is what will take your trading career to the next level!
