This page will show readers Pivot point levels for Gold and Forex pairs, and how price may move for the day.
The 4 hour time frame will be our focus for today’s pivot point analysis.
XAUUSD Pivot 17th December, 2021 (06:05 GMT):
Gold/XAUUSD 4HR TF:
The Four Hour chart shows that the Bulls are currently dominating.
Bears are unable to form any resistance whatsoever as there is no Bearish candle in the last ten candle formation on the 4hour chart.
However, 1845 may be the next Major point that the Bulls might be trying to take price to.
Although, it appears as if Price is at a Major Resistance area (1808 level).
Bulls are still fully in charge and any dip in price will be a Buying point by the Bull into
the end of the Year 2021.
However, Price is currently ticking higher on the 4hr time frame.

XAUUSD Pivot 12th December, 2021 (07:52 GMT):
Gold/XAUUSD 4HR TF:
XAUUSD price closed on the 10th December, 2021 at 1782.62.
Opening price for Monday 13th December 2021 may be around 1782.62.
Higher Daily price open may imply that price may close Bearish at the end of the day.
On the other hand, Lower Daily price open may imply that price may close Bullish at the end of the day.
Pivot for Monday is 1780.56 and it will be checked with open price.
The 4hr chart is currently showing that market price is currently Ranging.
However, on the 4hr chart, we have the formation of Higher Low at the 1769 area.
Price may breakout higher towards Resistance 1 (1791 area) before jumping further to 1799 (Resistance 2).
Support 1, which is at the 1771 area is currently being eyed by the Bears.
A break below that level will definitely take price to Support 2 (1761 area).
Overall bias on the 4 hour chart is Neutral.

Using Weekly pivot levels on the Daily time frame, the most relevant levels are as follows;

Weekly pivot point (1781.81) is the Blue line in the image above. However, Weekly pivot is above Daily Pivot (Daily Pivot is at 1780.56).
The implication is, the Pivot point for the Higher Time Frame is higher than that of the Lower Time Frame.
However, Price closed above the Weekly Pivot (Closing Price is at 1782.62).
Weekly Resistance is at 1793.75.
While weekly Support is at 1770.69.
